whichever you prefer, just compare yourself in each of the cars...only you know what you like best

well for example like a 1998 GT only had 230 hp, the 99 - 04 v6 has 190 so its possible with a few mods to make the v6 match the hp ( crank of course not wheel ) but torque is a differant story

sell your v-6 and get the GT, yeah you can get the same amount of power out of a v-6 but it would take more money and work
thats why i'm selling my car and getting a fox body

5spd swap is not worth the money at all, i mean yeah its nice but its smarter to sell your car and buy a 5spd
yeah brent but i mean stock for stock late 90's GT= faster and more power potential just my .02

You can make it a 5 speed..but it'd be cheaper and alot easier on you to just sell it and buy a 5 speed.

i say keep the v6. it's dependable, it's fast enough, and it has low mileage.

Is anything ever really fast enough? I am guessing you haven't been bitten by the mod bug yet. Hell, even my cobra isn't fast enough anymore...now how can I get that Kenny Bell...hmmm....
I say go for the GT. You want a GT...go get one. If you don't now, you will want one some day anyhow. Might as well be sooner than later.

I say get the GT cuz u can mod the v6 to get to the speed and power of the gt or you could get the gt and spend the same or about the same money on mods for it and be even faster.

i say get the GT...
you say a 03 v6 with no mods and 20k miles.. i think to myself.. "that is worth quite a few bucks."
aim for a cobra man... i seen a 99 the other day with 40k miles on it for around 10 grand.... man.. i wish i was graduated already.

actually, the 98 had 225, so 230 is a good estimate. the 96 had 215.
Don't forget about the torque ya get with the GT though
