If you go and buy a off the shelf system and call your self a computer nerd... you are far mistaken lol
if you did have no fear just dont get any sunlight for like a month and modify stuff

its like cars money = speed lol but you will probably save a ton if you have the software that is... you can build a near top of the line cpu for 700-800 bucks

That is a little tougher. I can check but nobody has ever asked me about laptops. Building one is out of the question though.

Yea I know building one isnt feasable but I could really use a laptop for college and for working on the site else where. Since we have wireless in my house now I can work on the site from anywhere which would be nice.
Also if you know of anyone that needs a decent computer I am selling my old one

I just did rebuild/upgrades on both of mine recently, one has Athlon Barton core XP 3000 with 400 mhz front side bus and Via chipset motherboard, the other has the Athlon Barton XP 3200 w/ 400 mhz fsb both have a GB of 400 mhz memory, the XP3200 has AOpen mainboard with nvidia chipset and the memory is a matched pair. Its video card is also Nvidia 256 meg memory ddr card the other video card is 128 meg ATI 7200 I think it is its got a TV card separate also from ATI. I have built like 3 or 4 times in each of these cases, Inwin full tower and a Midtower, can 't think of the brand, but it is a good one, lol. Only thing is they are a little old and no front usb hookups. the midtower has a 400 W power supply the full tower has a 600 watt power supply in it.
