is there any way to change the guage color and ac panel color to red or orange rather than green. I want it to match the color of my lights on my head unit.

UPR sells different A/C knobs that change the color to either red, green, or blue. For your guages, might wanna look at www.SpeedHut.com for some custom guages.

you can get custom made dash overlays... you may can hack your gauges some how and alter it to red, if you look at the back side it may shed some light on it.

You can change the color of the way the needles light up. There's a guide somewhere. You take a razor and scrape the paint off and use a paint pen to put a new color on it.

my mac gauges are the same as the pre 99s all you have to do to alter the color is in the gauge cover.
