About 3 weeks ago me and a co-worker went out on a straight stretch between to large fields. He and a freind marked out a 1/4 mile the day before. We lined-up and had my passenger give us the go ahead. I got a 1/4 car length right off the line. We stayed even thru first, when I hit second I gained about a 1/2 a length on him, he then stayed right with me all thru second, as ishifted into third I put about another 1/2 on him, just after that I shut down. We then raced again (rematch) it was about the same until I missed third( damn stock shifter) oops He then proceeded to pass me as I managed to get it into third, but I damn near stayed with him to about 100 after that.
