Took the chevelle back to TPS last night. Big thanks to Benji for the help.
We made several jet changes on the primary and secondary sides of the carb. We changed the spring rate on the 4 barrel, so it would open quicker. We actually lowered to total timing to 34* and picked up some power.
We picked up a total of 25hp. Smooth out the overall drive, and gain some MPG. We still have to pull the dist. to change the springs to adjust the timing curve.
In Dynojet mode the car made a of 370rwhp and 375 rwtq

Upton, Drivetrain is a main factor in actual dyno #'s.
Automatics seem to have significantly more parasitic drivetrain loss from the flywheel to the rear wheels when compared to standards. The loss is alot of times even more on older cars than newer cars.
Different figures come in to play also, the SAE correction factors, the dyno (dynos can be set up completely different even if the are the same dyno) Different dynos provide different numbers for different types of vehicles also.
SAE Correction factors use math calculations to make up for altitude, temperature and humidity. So that somebody in Denver can actually be compared to somebody in Baton Rouge on a fair scale.
Just remember a dyno is usually an rough AVG. of about what kind of power your car makes. Because some days you may run stronger and some days weaker. Just like the track.

nope. the motor's at 10.5:1 comp. and it just kills the look. But I will be installing fuel injection one day.
