I saw one last night when I drove closed a car shop at work. Poor pony was burried in snow, but I saw the side scoops and the tail lights (same as Elanor in gone in 60 sec.). It is white with blue stripes and manual. Interrior is black and looked in pretty good shape (at least what I manage to see from the fence). It also has 4 tail pipes and I think it got the rally wheels (not sure).
What is so special with the California Special? Gonna go there on Monday and check it out and ask what he want for it.

and I was wrong, there were only 251 High Country Specials produced in 68, trying to find correct numbers on California Specials.

Wow old pics, there's my Jessica in the back :p Sweet License plate on the Cali Special huh?
Last time he came over with that car to have Thanksgiving dinner this guy came over and knocked on the door asking about the Cali Special. He said when he was a kid he only saw 1 Cali Special in his entire life back when he was living in New Orleans. So this was a huge treat for him to see it here today.

a classic like the cali specials arent something you mod or anything. its something kept and mantained in your family and stays there for a long, loooooong time and passed down.
