red herring, i think once u get into like 5sec or something passes you mainly have like a 2spd power glide. which is basically shit! and oh shit! or fast and faster

they should offer an auto for those losers who are to good to shift or dont know how to.... if you are hard core into drag racing chances are the stock auto will be replaced anyway.

a guy that used to hang out with us has a black supra, and some little punk with a bolt on 96 cobra along with a 200 shot (or so) n20 on it was talking crap well the supra proceeded to blow his doors off (10 second car) and he was all like, um i didnt use my bottle... it wouldnt have made a diff anyway

Yeah, Supras are insane!! Best car for the money I'd say. Has anyone caught a glimpse of the potential new supra? I believe car and driver did something on it. Supposed to be a v-10 with a stock 500 hp. Hahaha, then just like the old supra you put an intake on it and it will double. |

but for the auto its rumored to be the heavy duty one from the F-2(or 3)50's but everyone here at least has to admit that Auto's are more consistant that std's

I got a movie for ya.....
New Cobra vs a Supra on a highway. High speed race Cobra gets up to like 165 and the supra is just pulling away....
Only thing is it 13 megs lol.

Here is the thing I have been shifting performance cars for 27 years and The car I have now has a performance Interceptor auto tranny and I like it. It offers me the option to shift and be able to withstand over 500 hp.
Remember all car with a auto tranny has to do is overcome a 15 hp disadvantage to be playing on a level playing field
