you looking for a complete motor or just a short block? Are you looking for a 2,3, or 4 valve?

why a 4.6? and if your going to build it, might as well be a 4v

the 4.6 comes in a 2v, 3v and 4v configurations.

I was going to clarify this also, but after further elaboration I realized he meant..
Why 4.6? (as in why not 5.4?)
and then was making a statement that it should be a 4v either or.

putting a 5.4 into a Mustang comes with its own problems... more so than simply just building the motor. That's the reason I won't be putting a 5.4 in my GT.

don't know how i missed this, well the replies at least.
exactly what i ment, also was wondering why not a 302 or something...
try car-part.com i guess and see if any 4.6's are around you... 
2 months later and your still looking for one? are engines rare out there? I'm going to guess something came up and now your back on track with your project...
hopefully after first term ill have enough to start my 95 cobra r'ish clone (351 with other goodies and whatnot...) hopefully on another mustang and not my current gt...

well i have a 2001 saleen that i have ben keepin bsy with any one wanna buy a 86 fox with a fresh 5.0 and full rol cage? lmk taking offers needs paint all body work completed.? |
