How hard is it to mod. or replace a stock single exhaust bumper for dual? Or is this something I will have to live with?

What year mustang do you have? If its a 99-04, you can use a hole saw and cut some holes into the stock bumper, or buy a GT bumper with the factory cutouts.
An 05+ bumper already has 1 cutout, making another that would match is a pain.
It would be easier to buy a GT takeoff, they are all over already painted for cheap if you look.

^^^Yah, much agreed. It will cost more, but it definitely looks better. If you have a 99-04, and have a common color, you could find a takeoff for cheap...
or you could eliminate the whole bumper problem and get dumps just before the axle.

That sounds good. I have a 2009 mustang. I don't think a GT bumper will be too hard to find my color, have the alloy I really like it. I was going to just leave it be if I couldn't make it work

Ya search some forums or google search new takeoff sites, I'm sure you could find a GT bumper for cheap.
