Securing rear seat delete?

took rear seat out today, will be getting plywood and capret hopefully tomm.

what do i bolt or screw it to to keep it from moving? Just random parts of the floor or what...

I say use what you got. See if you can take off the locking mechanism that held the original seat on and see if you can attach it to your piece of plywood. Never done one before so don't go completely on what I say.

well... im just gonna screw it to the floor lol,

the lower area where the lower seat went Im going to make that level with the upper part and put a hinge on it and use it for extra storage.

black is the floor contour
red is what ill be building
red spaced one is the lid.

What are you planning to keep under it?

mainly will help in the spring/summer if I want to go fishing or something can throw a couple small tackle boxes in there. and other just odds and ends

by the time you get done adding stuff the bottom is gonna weigh more than the stock bottom heck it probably already does.

I dont get how your making a lid are you using the floor as a space compartment? cause I know my backseat never dipped down thats for sure
