What do you think about this scoop?

Well since im going for the boss 302 look, a mach1 style hood wont work, boss 302's didnt have any scoops or anything but I was thinking of a nice wide scoop that will fill up some of the hood space, and came across this:



or maybe find a used 99+ gt scoop or even a older 79-82ish scoop.

I don't think I would attempt to fit a hood scoop on a hood where it doesn't go, personally. I'm worried enough about an OEM hood scoop, lol.

no bluemustang, the scoop is sold seperatly..and it is applied by dbl sided tape...since my hood is realtivly flat I figured it might work

I would most definitely put some screws trough the hood for that... think about it, it's a scoop, if there is nowhere for the air to go, it will rip that bitch right off your hood.

i say no scoop at all since you are doing the boss 302 theme. maybe even some custom decals on the fender that replace the "boss 302" over the striping with "boss 5.0" i think that would be awesome

A lady in my hometown put that on her red 05..she has a 1970 Mach I and a 05 GT with the scoop. They're painted to match and are both badass....

Got links? Cause the image im thinking doesnt feel like their should be a scoop on there. I dunno man. Id personally just get a nice hood cause theirs def plenty of them out their for our cars

they make 99-04 mustang hoods (that accept the scoop) for F150s so they may make them for other vehicles and if so then a scoop would fit easy.

I would go without the scoop and do the decals like the early '69 Bosses without the shaker.
