I know that alot of people like to lower their mustang but has any one gave their mustang an old nostalgic drag stance. Were the car is raised and the rear is raised a little higher than the front (Raked). I was woundering how I would do this to my mustang a 2006 mustang.

I always loved that look as well, but I guess the general agreement by most is that the late model mustangs are better looking with an even stance. The lines of the car are best matched with an even stance.
But...It is possible to give the car a rake:
1) Get eibach pro kit springs for the front, and leave the rear stock = aggressive rake
2) Get eibach pro kit springs for the entire car, take the isolators out in front and put them in the rear = mild rake
3) Leaving all the isolators gives the 99-04 cars a nice rake, not sure about 05+
You can do this with the stock isolators as long as their in decent shape. After a lot of abuse/road time, the isos will get "smushed" but, I'm guessing your car is new enough that this hasn't happened yet.
Some may not advise taking the isos out because they prevent the spring from rubbing on metal placement pieces, and prevent noise from the initial blunt hit the spring takes. Occasionally, they may cause some, and when I say some I mean very little squeaking when you hit a bump, but this can be solved by wrapping the coil ends in electrical tape a few times.

Either way you go I wouldn't leave the front at stock height, it looks like your prepared to go offroading, the 99-04 V6/GT's suffer from this badly. Raising the rear with the front already too high would just not look good.
Besides, most badass muscle cars had the front lowered a bit and the ass end jacked up to give them a more noticeable rake.

it doesnt look good to have the rear all high and the front not~ but if you like it you could just lower the front and dont put in the rear lowering springs~

I met a kid who had a set of Saleen Springs installed and he hated the rears so he decided to just go back to the rear stock for time being. He wound up loving the raked look and it was one of the nicest rakes I've seen, with the wheel spacing and all.

Yea that is what I thought I would have to do, lower the front only. Not to get off subjet but I really like those rims on the example picture hottcobra gave, does any body have a link or knows who makes them. |

Poor boys did it with bigger tires and air shocks in the back. Although not a good set up for drag cause the pumped up air shocks would limit the weight transfer for hook up. If u just want a mild rake just go with the bigger tires out back and smaller in front. Did that with my fox and loved it. Used 235/60/14 in the back and 195/70/14 in the front.

that's because you have to buy from one of their distribs. also I don't think their street legal, but I may be wrong.
