Go to local Hardware store and pick up some rubbing alcohol and Krylon Fusion paint, pop off those trims, rub them down with the alcohol to clean them and just spray with the paint. All there is to it.
The plastic door piece you can slide you're finger up top where the little indent is and pop the whole piece out (or use a flathead screwdriver - carefully!). I believe a few screws hold the button assembly in that unscrews with a philips head.
The center console can vary. If it's a 94-00 then you will need Ford DIN Radio Removal Keys which can be found in many places for very cheap. Pull up on the trim bezel around the shifter, it's only held in by clips. There shouldn't be any screws holding in the second trim piece (goes around the radio, HVAC, and vents) but keep a screwdriver handy just in case. Remove the radio and CD Player if applicable with the DIN Keys. Behind the top radio is a torx screw (I believe it's either a T15 or T20, but do not quote me). You'll more than likely need an extension to get it out. You can now pull the radio trim off, usually it's best to start at the bottom and work the trim off evenly side by side.
For the 01-04 model years, there are no (read:
none) screws holding the top trim piece. You can just pull up the bottom shifter bezel and then the radio trim.
You can check out the article sections, there are some great tutorials with photos that show you how.
For the painting you will definitely want to head over hear where they have a great breakdown, how to and pictures.
