ok guys and gals im gonna have a bout 4500 dollars to play with
i have a 60k mil 99 gt and am thinking of a vortech s/c what package should i go for or is that to hi of milage or should i get the dss 5.1 stroker that has all
forged internals any imput will help again thanks guys.......

The 5.1 liter stroker block would not be good to use with a supercharger. The 4.9 liter stroker block would be better for boost applications.

I would just get the blower for now & just run 6spi. Since it has 60k, which isn't bad at all. Make sure you can get the vortech to be able to install an aftercooler on it. That is what I am going to do. With all my mods, (whith my predator) & ported heads/cams, I plan on having a steetable 600 rwhp @ 12-15 psi @ 15 mpg's on the highway.

boost hold out. 5.1 stroker dish pistons (for later boost) and make er lope.  and your petty chit and by this time next year youll get your tax return sc will be cheaper and you will have all the little chit done... motor, then boost.. this way it doesnt matter how much boost you run. everyone pushes it when there charged

I know but you only want to bore the strokers .020 over. You don't want the cylinder walls too thin for high boost applications.

60k isnt anywhere near high mileage.
Im running right now since its winter 9 psi on a 128k motor I do plan on upping the boost once warm weather hits.
And what type of s/c do you want? DO you want it to be silent? or loud? SQ - silent S- loud thats if you go Vortech. Id also recomend getting a aftercooler or just buy a Procharger where you get the intercooler included like what I got.

Nope. Next issue of mm&ff they have project ice box. They have ported heads, stage 2 cams, & bullet intake. They have an h-pipe & slp catback on it. At 8psi they made 542 rwhp & got 15mpg. The next issue (Feb) they are adding the 4.9 liter stroker & adding more boost. Low 10 second street car that gets 15mpg.
