Sold the supercharger

Sold it in favor of going with a set of Total Engine Airflow ported heads and a set of comp stage 2 spr cams p/n 127500. The rest of the car will consist of
steeda cai
steeda billet delete plates
steeda pulleys
jba long tubes with off road h-pipe and mac mufflers
4.10s are staying
getting the converter restalled to 3200
GT500 pumps are staying and going with 39lb injectors
And last but not least I have a N/X wet kit that will see 100-150 shot.
Goal for the car is high 11s on motor and high 10s on the nitrous.

The saleen that I have listed in my sig It ran a 10.80 @ 124 with it. I posted a vid of the pass in the picture and video section awhile back.

Did what I set out to do with it. Now I am setting out to run 11s on the motor with the auto. Shouldnt be to hard. And honestly the wife didnt care for driving the car with the blower she has a heavy foot and pretty much kept the car in boost when she was driving it.

about the same set up as my friend kent in baton rouge. he has heads and cams but i dont know which ones. he runs 11.9-12.0 on motor and 10.8-10.9 on a 100 shot. he traps over 125mph and this is with a 5spd manual. |

I know Kent quite well. And I know what his car runs. My name is Jason Spiers (pronounced like spears) I talked to him yesterday.
and hottcobra I am going to have to find a set of stock heads to send them. I am looking at the livernois stage 2 also.

Nah I got a guy in houma that has a set he is going to let me send to them and then I am just going to give him mine when I get them swapped out. I appreciate you looking out though. Either way I will have the stuff ordered by this weekend. The livernois have bronze guides and a cpl other things that the tea doesnt have listed on their site so I am going to call them and ask about those things it is the same turn around for either place like 2 to 3 weeks.

you may want to do some checking. Livernois has had some very unhappy customers lately.

Yeah I have been following the threads, but I also have seen how they have been jumping thru hoops to make things right and I think they have a very good track record. I have been looking at doing this since before I bought the blower and have narrowed it down to these 2 just gotta see who now. I know tea has some awesome customer service too as I have ran a cpl sets of the tfs heads they port on a cpl of my older fox body cars and I was always very pleased with them, its going to be a tough choice between these 2 but I think I will be happy either way I go now I just gotta pull the trigger.

Man I log more time than I want to admit researching parts for this car, but I want to spend my money on things that work the first time ,you know? I am probably going to be sticking with this set-up for awhile though since the wife told me earlier she is tired of me swapping stuff. Only other major thing I will do at a later date is a 298 stroker kit. On a side note did you ever find out how I could change my user name?

She stays at home since she had the baby so most time she goes some where its when I am home and if not she takes the tahoe when I have the car torn apart.

Yeah once we decided to have the baby I told her I was going to buy something else for when she got pregnant cause she wasnt going to want to be climbing in and out of that car so I went and bought a tahoe and you know she drove that mustang until she was nine months preg. and to this day if she isnt taking the baby she will drive the mustang over the tahoe in a heartbeat.
