Shift Knob

I'm gettin a short throw hurst shifter for my next upgrade and i wanted to go ahead and get a new knob. I'm split between 2. The hurst t handle, and the hurst pistol grip. I'm leaning towards the pistol grip because i know it will go down low enough to meet the boot and not shot the shifter arm. I like the look of the t handle a lil more. I'm only concerned about the knob not coming all the way down to the boot. Has anyone used either one?

Never used either, but I do like the Pistol Grip better. I always feel the T-Handle is for automatics for some reason.

If you are getting a whole new shifter why not go with MGW, they are supposed to be the best out their and I do plan on going with one real soon.

I agree that the mgw is the best, but i'm kinda old fashioned i guess (even though i'm only 19) i like the hurst brand.

I will add a +1 to that statement. My buddy's 91 LX had the T handle and I ABSOLUTELY HATED IT.

I would go with whatever provides the most comfort when shifting. Personally I wouldn't opt for a T handle, go with what feels natural to you.
