Car Crashes Kill 40,000 in U.S. Every Year!!!!!
Imagine a plane full of people crashing, killing everyone on board, every single day. Thats how many people die on Americas roads daily, says the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.
On average, more than 100 people per day died in car crashes in the U.S. The death toll for a single day can range from 45 to 252 people, say the researchers

So where is the outrage over this. I say lets take the liberal approach and ban cars then people would not die!!! HAHHAHAHHAHAHA

the apparent apathy towards some things and apparent hatred for others is all.

Here is the ironic twist 40,000 a year die in automobile accidents and only Ralph Nader is complaining and yet at the same time everyone puts the blame on the person not the car but 13,000 people are murdered by guns every year and yet there are those who blame the gun not the person. Double standards if you ask me. But again many people in this country talk out of their asses anyway.

drivers ed is required here, but it gets a nice 10% insurance discount along with another 10% for good student discount

another reason why we need to get the stupids off the road or move them all to a given state so they can run over each other.

Brent said it. In california, I believe you can miss 14 on your drivers test and sitll pass. My test was not possibly 5 minutes long, but just to assume it was, that means you can make about three mistakes a minute and still get a drivers license. And to think people fail?! Intead of giving out tickets to those who know what they're doing, perhaps they should just take everyone who doesn't off the road. I say we make it so that you have to know a shitload about cars (how to fix them, how to drive them, how they work) just to be able to drive them. Then maybe take the number you can miss down to one or two.
A good amount of people die from drunk driving in America. One every fifteen minutes. However, this girl named Kristen I had a class with had two DUI's and still had a drivers license. Not to mention she wasn't even old enough to drink yet...
