i was surprised that i enjoyed myself as much as i did. i paid for the tickets (55$/each, ouch!) for me and the girlfriend to go to a john mayer/counting crows/someotherguy concert for our year anniversary.
john mayer is a talented guy. he's really wasting his talent on soft rock / love songs playing one or two chords. :oops:
he covered random songs for a minute each, and he floored me with his skills. he went from jimmy hendrix to eric clapton and it was awesome. it wouldn't hurt him to smile some because he looks like he's constipated or about to cry when he is playing guitar on a solo stint. i was very surprised that i enjoyed mayer more than the counting crows. 
i give it three headbangs out of five.

Never seen counting crows or John Meyer. But I'll let you know how the Summer Sanitarium goes next weekend. Deftones, Mudvayne, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, and Metallica. Tickets START at 89 dollars. But I'm gonna wait in line for beer when limp bizkit is on stage... blah.

yeah, i wish i could go to that tour as well relik.
if i had the time off i'd be in South Carolina seeing Ozzfest. :|
and my buds can't go, so i won't be going to the 50 cent/fabolous/busta rhymes/jay Z tour in houston.  and jay Z is retiring soon as well. this sucks. |
