exhaust humm

I have an 82 GT, 302 (slight cam) headers, off road pipes, and Flowmaster 40 mufflars. I have a horrible hum at idle and between 1800- 2100 rpm.

Is there anything I can do to get rid of it?

I was told I might need more back pressure.
The car has all emission equipment removed.

Please help, I hate driving it because of the noise.

Thats sounds like the Flowmaster "drone" to me.

thats def drone. get new mufflers. flowmaster are famous for that. i had super 40's and i ripped them out and i got SLP LM I's and solved that problem

what gears, it gets worse with gears as you are higher in the rpms driving around and such
