I'm VERY excited to have this 01 GT
It handles great, sounds great.. its everything I remembered 'cept my 02 was definitely faster.. (this car probably traps around 96, my 02 trapped just under 100 - literally.. 99.98)
I haven't driven a car without a boatload of torque in over 3 years.. the regal has 362 ft lbs to the wheels, and boost comes on QUICK
The 92 LX had a higher torque peak than the regal, but the engine revved so fast I would be in my torque band whenever I wanted..
The 01.. I forgot what it was like to not have bottom end..
Have a set of 3.73s I'll put in on the way.. I'll probably do a CAI/75MM tb/intake plenum - MAYBE a magnaflow catback..
But I think the only real solution for me being in CA.. is a kenne bell..
So that's my goal, within 1 year from now I plan to install and run a Kenne bell on my 01 GT..
... So many people pick on me in the stang.. I'm like 'I have a car that would destroy and embarrass you parked at home! leave me alone!' it sounds great, but I can't back it up.. yet haha
Sorry for rambling

I feel your pain. whenever I go out with a group down here, I'm usually the only N/A car. it sucks to be the slowest car.

Doesn't struggle to reach it's torque band, so I can keep up with traffic without revving it too high now
I haven't gotten on it much, going to break in the new bearings/friction plates for 300-500 miles or so
It feels a lot better though!
Car is pretty much done til I get the SC within a year.. Just gotta rebuild the 'fun' bank account, I do not want to touch my other savings yet.. Of course if I get around to demodding and selling the buick, it will come that much sooner..

I love it... I do miss the east coast at times, though
