The bumper I purchased to go back on my 'stang was from an '02 and it came with the fog lights which mine didn't have previously. Is the wiring harness a dealer only part or would I be able to pick it up from Auto Zone or NAPA or some place like that?

On mine i have a lil button on the inside to turn them off. If you don't care about that I would just wire them to your headlights.

Well, I don't really use the coin holder anyway, and I was trying to make it look as stock as possible. I guess I could wire them to my headlights.

what you could do is go to a scrap yard and get a fog light button from a gt and just wire it to that switch and you could just turn them on manually.

You can find the wiring harness for sale by itelf, as well as the fog light switches at some aftermarket companies. I think Late Model Restoration has them and CJ Pony Parts (haven't had the greatest time with them).
Or you could just do like upton7 said and wire it to the headlights. But if you want to switch them on or off, you can buy the switch (01-04 under the radio) (99-00 in the coinholder slot) and wire it independently, or buy the harness.

The fog light is an 899 bulb. You can head over to Motorcraft's website and pick up a 899 pigtail connector. While you are there you can pick up the OEM Fog Light Switch. If you would like to keep it as close to original as possible.
My fog lights were replaced with aftermarkets so the original pigtail connectors were cut off. I went onto eBay and picked some up so you can check over there too. A few other online shops carry the connectors.

IKR! I saw that as well as I was attempting to purchase some fog lights to "upgrade" my car. They have alot of things available that I need to get my '02 back to where it should be... but $29.99 for a fog light button? Seriously? Not to mention the fog light kit is $249.99...

IMO that's not expensive at all. Wiring harnesses and electrical switches can tend to get pretty expensive. Take into consideration that most wiring harness require a specific metal that may or may not be expensive. The switch actually come with a trim item also? So, IMO that's a pretty good deal.

buying the harness from anyone is usually expensive, you can wire one up yourself, you will just need the plugs to the fog lights which you can get from ford or probably cheaper here: (but check first) Tousley Ford Parts Depot
wiring is pretty easy i can help if you want to do it yourself, pm me and I will tell you how to do it

VMP tuning has the full fog light kit for 175.00 This includes everything, and you get the clear lens, look better than the oem ones. This is the cheapest I've seen a full kit with clear lens.
Just putting it out there

Ah, hell with it. I ended up buying the switch from ebay for 10 bucks and the pigtails from late model restoration.
