yes you do, remember that 3 month or more period when i kept telling you but you wouldnt listen... now you see.... next time you will just have to listen to me no matter how odd it seems....
and the tri ax is a very nice shifter, its a little longer throw than some others but all around i like it a ton ( its what i have)

just one question, is a little gear/vibration noise when i accelerate normal??

yes the steeda brings with it vibration and noise from the little ring that you put over it, i would leave the ring off... but thats just me (if i have the chance ill remove mine but its nto that bad)
and the knob will get hot if its a metal knob.
