Brandon you do know there is a big difference between the average turbo muffler and Dynomax Super Turbos. Dynomax are the best turbo muffler They are also stainless steel.

corey, you have dynomax right? I know your car is heavily modded but do you have an exhaust clip. I can't find one of a V6 w/ dynomax mufflers. Also do you have ultraflos or super turbos?

Dynomax is running an awesome deal right now $25 rebate on super turbos, $50 on ultra flo welded, and $75 on ultra flo SS. So basically you can get the super turbos for next to nothing and ultra flo SS for the price you usually pay for super turbos. Since I was planning on spending money for super turbos I think I'm going to get the ultra flo SS's. Does anyone (especially Corey since you seem to be the resident dynomax expert) know if the ultra flos drone much? do they sound much different from the super turbos on a stock system? I guess what i'm looking for is to be able to be heard during acceleration but I don't want to be annoying.

Ultra flows do not drone because they are flow thru and dont have baffles or chambers. Super Turbos dont really drone either since it uses packing and perforated tubes instead of chambers or baffles.

If you dont have engine mods the Super Turbo's would be the loudest. Roush used them until 2001-2002 Ultra flows will be quieter simple because they have no chambers to resonate sound but if you have P&P Heads intake and cam along with a X or H pipe it will raise a few eyebrows.

P&P intake heads and cam will make your exhaust louder? or just meaner?

will I still notice a difference from stock with the ultra flos? The reason I'm leaning toward ultra flos is I'm thinking about turbo charging it in a few years.

Yes you will notice a difference with ultraflows. It will be louder than stock at idle but will really growl when you hammer the pedal down!!!

summitracing.com or jegs.com they both have good prices. Go to dynomax.com to print the rebate form ... but to get the rebate you have to but the muffler before the end of the month

If you are wanting to change mufflers eventually, go ahead and get an exhaust shop do the new piping for you. You will need 2 pipes made even if you use the gt takeoff's. You'll come out ahead getting the exhaust shop do it all.

Nobody mentioned Warlocks? Check out my garage, there's a vid on there. Dual exhaust with warlock mufflers = hot sound. And my car is all stock :O
