Id buy that FRPP Focus in a heart beat better yet id want that modular 5.0 engine in my stang wonder if i could buy it hmmmm

differ is the focus is easy on the eyes. Id drive a focus but thats just me.

why the focus though? they could at least put it in something alittle cooler looking. the probe would be 100 times better.

yea i think the 03 cobra motor is around 10-13k aint it?

if i had the money id buy this motor instead almost same specs and most likely has the noticable 5.0 sound

and its 5-10k cheaper

doubt it would have that 5.0 sound cause its modular not pushrod.

Id just get an 03 motor on ebay for cheap but either way I wouldnt cause 351W owns all

they dotn handle SO much better... with a little money in suspension you can make a stang run circles around it.... the fox bodies just are HORRID for handeling compared to the newer ones, but they are probably the best end result when you go into suspension.

I beg to differ. Focus's are ment for autox. small $ in suspension will outhandle a mustang instantly. and yes this comparing it to the newer ones not foxs.

WRC Rally racing on speed channel. Theres a guy that just started driving the focus at Monte Carlo and he was doing rather well with it. He was about 30 seconds behind 3rd place his first time using the car. 1st was a Seat Stephen Loeb(he was almost a minute and a half faster than everyone else) He owns the tarmac., 2nd was a Seat and 3rd was a WRX. If you mod focus's they are maneuverable little bastids.

Id rather drive a focus than something named the "probe". There is a another company who did a focus, I think their anme is AIT. They got the torque up to close to 500 HP. 03 cobra motor, but I wanna know where the hell the put the SUpercharger.

hell yeah the focus can handle, but so can a honda civic... whats your point?

oh and I kinda doubt it handles as well after throwing in a heavy ass 03 cobra motor... weight and tight suspension is what makes the small cars rock in handling

and please, stop with the fox body attacks, no shit they don't handle well, I mean it is a car body that was designed in ... 72? it was never meant too, though with suspension work they do quite well on the road coarse, at least for a car with comparable size, I see alot of porsche owners that get ill when someones cheap fox body with 6-8K of suspension beats them on the road coarse

don't get me wrong, I can't really say I have anything against a focus, but um, that motor doesn't belong there, if you want a bad ass focus, stay 4, and big turbo, just like at the rally's your talking about.

Your comparsion to the focus to the civic is a very stupid remark. There not even the same level. I suggest you go drive the rally edition focus or even the svt one and tell me if they dont handle

You obviously also havent read that the focus with the 03 cobra was converted to RWD.

And if you read the article I believe that's the one where they say the focus took the slalom at 70 mph, 1 mph faster than the last evo they tested. I'd say it handles better than a civic...
