My New System

As some of you know, last year, my stereo got jacked.
I had a Pioneer DEH-7200 Head unit, Performance Tecknique 250 watt pushing out Mono to a MTX Thunder 4000. All of it got stolen... out of my car... while it was 30 feet away in a a rainstorm. 
January, my insurance check came in. 
So Now I have this
Pioneer DEH-7600MP3
2 Kenwood KFC-2509 10" Subs
Dual sealed box
980 WATT Power Acoustic 4 ohm Amplifier (@4 ohms, it pushes out jsut over 300 to each sub)
Viper 2-Way Alarm System
Hehehe... I bump a little harder now
Sorry for the pics, I was too excited after I finished installing it that I didnt take pictures... these are the pre-installed and installing pics. |

I gotta get started on my system...should have some custom fiberglass boxes formed to mustang trunks up for sale this summer...gonna use my car as a form to start with.

I shoulda done that. When I had my V6 i had a nice molded box with 2 10 JL w3s and in the back and in the back their were the spaces for amps. It was dope.
I cant wait to start working on my system on my car but thats prolly aint gonna happen till next winter

I've gotten a question in regardsto the possition of my subs. Yes, they're angled like that on purpose. Several reasons. 1, I needed to have quick access to my spare. 2, I wanted to be able to throw my snowboard in my trunk without having to take out my subs. 3, I had to screw the speakers down to the body for sliding purposes... cant do that over the spare... too risky in my opinion.
I know it would hit harder if it was facing directly back at the trunk, but I thought this method was better than not having them in there at all  |
