Decided to mess around and decide what stripes i wanna go with on the new stang. Luckily i had some 1.5" electrical tape laying around so i used that. This is what i came up with and will probably use. They'll be painted on though, not decals. And either the top or bottom will come to a point at the front.
PS. the car is actually red, but i kind of like that burnt orange look , hmmmm

i'm really not sure about the stripes on the side, but the ones on the hood i kidna agree with (college colors here are black and orange, and i'm not really into school spirit specially since i don't go to the campus, so the color combo kinda turns me off)
was thinking maybe you don't have to repaint those side vents if you come up with a design that covers that area and is black, but i'm guessing you were going with just stripes and i'm not sure a huge stripe along the side would look that great.
just hand an idea! well maybe... maybe a thinner line higher up following the inside grove from the front bumbers on back, i know a lot of cars have had accent lines in this area, some even with 2 differnt colors which might give you other ideas...
these are my person opinions, obviously what ever you decide to do is going to be good, just do whatever looks good to you.....
btw! very nice job on the tape, i really doubt the curves woulda came out that great if i had done it

With the stripes i actually kind of like the scoop being black. I tried running the stripes on the inside of the body lines, but it ended up just being a big black "blob" over the scoop. Also tried running the lines up on the bumper following the lines and didn't like that either. It needs something a little different on the side stripes, wich is why i'm thinking of bringing one to a point, or possibly stopping one short of the fender like the old stripes from the 60's.

hmm its very hard to make the SN95 94-98 look right with any form of stripe kit~ive yet to see one I would personally want~ its just how the body lines flow on them, the 99-04 are not much different but the straighter cut sharp edges of them take better to graphics

yah, not a big fan of the side c stripes, but the hood ones look alright.
There's a red 95 around here with a white c stripe, imo not the best looking, but each to his own.
I've always been a fan of minimal decals/paint on mustangs. The 03/04 mach 1 is the only late model mustang I don't mind with "different" stripes and decals.

Ha Ha Ha, Never! You couldn't pay me enough to turn my stang or any other stang into an abortion like that
