im sure you will need new pads (pretty sure) and i belive the brake lines are the same... but it might be a good idea to pick up some oem from ford unless stainless are nearly the same price.

If you are going from 94-98 brakes to 99 Plus brakes the pads on the 99+ are almost twice as big. That is the reasion for swapping them.
DO not!!!! I repeat DO not put ceramic pads on a street car. You will lose stopping ability. Ceramic pads are for the track and need to be very hot to actually work well. Normal dribving will not heat them up enough.
Just dont do it!!!

yea, the pbrs are better than the 94-98s due to the dual piston design and upgraded pad design, they stop TONS better. The cobra caliper is not really that much better than the oem pbr, its simply the larger rotor that aids in its stopping ability. I would try to get lines for 99+ mustangs to make sure they will fit right, or check on www.diskbrakesrus.com for compatabiliy.

You can't just put the stock caliper on a bigger rotor, doesn't work like that. Bigger caliper- bigger rotor. Bigger rotor - bigger caliper.

And also, when you upgrade brake sizes, it would help you alot to get new stainless lines, makes for a cleaner look and better working brake system.

GT and V6 brakes are identical from 94-98 and 99-04 the only difference is the type of brake pads used on the gt they are all the same size and what not.

sorry let me be a little more clear. the 94-98 V6 and GT share teh SAME single piston calipers.
the 99-04 V6 and GT share the same dual piston PBR cailpers.
the rotors for 94-04 are the same size.
So if you have a 94-98 getting a set of v6 or GT pbrs from a 99-04 is a great thing to do, but you will have to do a little grinding on the knuckle to line one of the bolts up, not a big deal just a FYI, some years you dont have to but some you do.
