i disagree with both of you. But I am a little dissappointed in the new charger, those are old pics, the new charger is going to have 4 doors. but other than that, I love Mopars.

Dodge doesn't know what to do anymore? Nobody knows what to do anymore. All they ever do is make it bigger. Need a faster car? Lets throw a 5.7 litre in there. Still not good enough, let's throw an 8.0 in. Until recently when they're like hey, we can go small too and made the srt-4 turbocharged to the max along with the sti and evo. Hopefully somebody just starts over here pretty soon and makes something new and original. And not that cobalt ss nonesense. That car is crap too, supercharged 200hp is lame. We need more ls7's running around. Wish I had a new z06. Same old corvette with lots of power . And by same old corvette I mean it didn't do a TOTAL makeover outside and it still has it's heart beating better than ever.

eh the new cobalts arent that bad. 200hp isnt bad, my car made 200hp stock and wasnt slow.
i think that looks badass but what theyre actually making looks like utter crap. and american carmakers are wondering why the import car makers are doing so much better. well, except for mitsu, but theyll be back again. the Evo9, a 280hp turbo Galant and the new 260hp Eclipse, along with the Raider and a redesigned Outlander will bring them back up to par.

That's not even what the new Charger looks like.
345hp V8 ain't bad.
4 doors sux.
no stick sux.
Trust me lots of the MoPar faithful, myself included, are p!ssed at MoPar for calling a 4 door car a Charger. Imagine if Ford built a 4 door Mustang?
We are p!ssed at Chrysler for having not provided the support to the aftermarket that Ford does in so long most of us were babies when they last did, late 60's early 70's.
We are p!ssed at teh idiot PR flacks telling us 2 door cars don't sell and that our old Mopar's aren't "real" and these new abortions are the real ones, so...
Lot's of the MoPar faithful, myself included, have gotten tired of waiting for them to provide what we want. Which is a 2 door, V8 powered stick shift RWD car. So we are buying....Mustangs.
If you want to read all about it head over to MoParts.com, into the general section and do a search on "mustang". You'll get an eyeful.

Yes sir! This is EXACTLY why I'm looking at a Stang. There is no aftermarket for Dodges anymoe other than the POS 94-up 4x trucks. Prices for the old "muscle cars" have went up so high that it's not even funny and if you did buy/build one you wouldn't wanna drive it knowing the crap load of $$ you've put into it. Dodge was awesome in the 60s-70s,almost went out in the 80s,came out with the K car(still stupid) but sold very well, they have the '94 truck that sold well but they have NEVER built anything proformance since 1971 and that I hate and thats why I want a Stang.

If you guys didnt hear, it's 4 door.. the official one. Saw it at the LA Auto Show.. doesn't look good at all.
But they said they were just bringing back the name, and not the car back

its like when they brought back the challenger in the late 80s oof that thing sucked. if you going to bring back a name plate you have to have it do respect to the older version of it, like the ford 500, that cars a joke

looks like they tried stealling design ideas from other carmakers there, kinda sleak like a corvette, and then kinda sharp designed and boxy edged like the Cadillas STS or SLR

I loved the original chargers..
I did drool over the 99 concept, even in 4 door version that was a gorgeous car.. selling a magnum w/o the hatch and calling it a charger = pisses me off

That original 1966 Charger was kinda ugly too, I think you are thinking of the 68-69 Chargers.

are you comparing it to a v6 mustang? It just seems to me that SS usually meant something big until now.
