Remote Keyless Entry

Where is the receiver for the signal from the key fob? I am trying to find the wire that arms the anti-theft system upon locking. I am making my engine immobilizer tie in with it, and I need the wire to arm the immobilizer too. ANy ideas?

The wiring diagram I was looking at says that the factory alarm arms upon locking, but if I wire it to the power locks, I am afraid that if someone were to hit the lock button while I am driving it would disengage the engine.

You might have to break out a Ford wiring diagram. I doubt that information would be in a Haynes maunual. I'm assuming the remote start was Ford aftermarket right?

Actually it is not a remote starter. Just an immobilizer. It is a keypad kinda like in the transporter in his bmw. I installed it but it needs to arm itself by being wired to the pre-existing alarm. Thank you however for responding.

Hm...I'm trying to remembery what was tapped into on my car for the viper alarm...but can't remember lol.

the oem module is in the trunk on the driver side behind the trunk liner.

so that's what that thing is next to the remote fuel cut off...?
