Loose clutch & Ford says it's normal

My clutch pedal (04 V6 5-spd) literally dug a hole in my carpet. I appears to have to much play before engaging. I have taken it in and it was "adjusted to the max". Well, it starting to become loose again. Is this an issue with anyone else in this forum? If so, may I please have some feedback: opinions, experiences, TBS's, etc. Thank you.

I would have a new clutch put in. Or bring it in to the dealer and have a technician drive it and find out what is wrong with it.

Ford clutches are so long you have to pack a lunch from engaged to disengaged. Get a new clutch quadrant and you can get rid of that... I'm selling one acctually It's a steeda double hook quadrant. You can stiffen up the clutch and shorten the pedal travel. That's what I did.

buy a UPR clutch quadrent and firewall adjuster along with a maximummotorsports petal height adjuster (unless you want the petal as high as it will travel) and you can adjust it as it should be.
