which body kit

I'm thinking of getting a body kit for my 00 stang. I have 17 inch y2k rims on it and its ati supercharged and now i'm looking to get some nice appearance mods. i'm thinking of getting the Kaminari body kit w/o the hood and not the lip kit either. i was wondering if getting a fiberglass body kit is actuallly that bad to get cause i spent all the money on the supercharger and fiberglass is cheaper than urethane?

you'll regret getting fiberglass in my opinion. One day your gonna scrape harder then usual and thats where its gonna break.

As for body kits thats something you gotta decide thats where the indivuality of the person comes to effect cause what I would like you prolly wouldnt like and vice versa

Fiberglass is generally a headache. I would reccomend fiberglass kits to trailer queens and show cars because fiberglass does look better at shows.

i'm pretty set on the kaminari cause i like the rear bumper and the sweet looking side skirts. I also like the cobra R front bumper but i haven't ever seen a rear bumper for one. i don't think there is a special bumper for the cobra R kit.

get whatever body kit you like, my only suggestion is get urathane

The 2000 Cobra R used the V6 rear bumper since the R has side exhaust.

The only problem you will run in with Kaminari that they do not mention is you have to reposition the exhaust tips to use the cut outs. Kaminari makes a great urethane kit. The Mach 1 Racer used it since it has some areodynamic qualities. Like the side skirts can double as rear brake coolers if you got into any custom fab work.

your taste in a kit is yours.... (regardless if you like ugly studd (BW2) or nice stuff (saleen, roush) ) get urathane! fiberglass for front and rear bumper = bad...

and another tip ONLY buy high quality kits from saleen/ford/roush/cervinis

anyone else you will probably wind up paying double the price to make it fit right!... yes thats right the cheap kits fit horrible!

You generally have to do that with any rear bumper you get including a regular ol Gt rear bumper

how would i have to move my exhaust tips, and is it a big deal to do it? Is it expensive?
