So I have some issues...

computer issues that is  Since like ive mentioned before im not all that computer genetic
So recently my antivirus program has been acting up giving me this popup saying the following
Alert: Malicious script detected
Object FileSystem Object
Activity GetSpecialFolder
Your computer is halted and needs to do something about this script
File C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\MicrosoftWindows.hta
So anyone know what my issue is? Really appriate it.

try to run ur anti virus to quarentine(sp) it. what anti virus are you using?

I already have those but panda counts spyware as viruses which is stupid in my opinion. I have Norton AntiVirus but nothing seems to show up once I run the scan.

Run Adaware and Spybot Search&Destroy. Every week. More often than that if you surf for porn.
Both are free downloads, just google them.
Bet that cures some problems... |

I have both those programs everlong. Im not that stupid to computers just stupid enough
I run them every other day and I dont search for porn I have my main porn sites and thats all I visit
and its only ONE problem the one I wrote up top

You can turn off searching for spyware in panada before you start it....
it doesnt clean it just shows if you have any.

yeah i know i have to buy it for 29.95
but it shows me spyware in the log when I look at it.

spyware is a virus
Virus: any program that gains entry into your computer with out your knowledge and performs actions that you do not want performed on your system. This is not alwasy harmful as much as lagging, as a worm usually just lags the system, where a trojan usually gains information for its "host" and what not.... spyware is horrid.

eh guess it is. but i dont consider it. I consider it an annoyance actually not even that i barely get pop ups in general. But my adaware and spybot takes care of it.
so none of you have any clue wtf that script is? and you guys call your self computer buffs

a script is a set of commands or some sort of little program, thus the coining of the term "script kiddies" aka people who grab programs and run them and call them selves hackzorz

also contrary to popular notions windows is NOT stable and sould reinstalled on a fresh reformated hdd modestly often.
