i have a question

i was thinking of putting in a ford racing 303x cam in my 93 gt, however i read that you must do alot of mods for that cam to work. does anyoe know what mods need to be done with that cam ?

im not sure on the specs but the air flow and such have to match the came else its worthless

what cam would you suggest?? i have 75mm into a trick flow street intake with gt40 heads and 30lb injectors

The X303 is WAY too big for that combo. It's meant more for a 347 stroker with AFR 185s or something similar. If you want an off-the-shelf cam, I'd recommend something like the Trick Flow Stage 1 or one of the smaller cams from the Comp Cams XE line.

now would that mount up with my current set-up or would i need to make changes ?

The cams he mentioned should work with your setup. I would just make sure you valve springs are within the specs recomended by the cam manufacturer.

thanks guys, i think i'm gonna go with the tf stage 1 cam. now the question is anyone need a 303x cam with about 1k miles on it

i don't know alot about cams... but would the 303x be ok for a stroked 351? i need a starting place for my project
