Anyone here play warcraft 3? I just bought the battlechest on Tuesday and it's a lot better than World of Warcraft.

Warcraft 3 is like 3 years old .
But yes, I have it still. I haven't played it in a long time though. I always liked the Command and Conquer series more so than the Warcraft series.
WoW isn't designed to be like the battle stratagy of Warcraft 3. WoW is a MMORPG, while Warcraft 3 is an online and solo player game limited to the number of bases available to individual players.
Having never played WoW, I can't give a fair opinion, but I believe I would rather go back to DAoC (Dark Age of Camelot) with the Catacombs expansion (the only one dont have). I like the humas aspect of DAoC over that what I ahve seen on WoW.

WIII was AWESOME. you should get a friend and play this one multiplayer thing where you start out with a level one hero and you have to fight your way through this entire dungeon. its pretty sweet. i loved those cutscenes too.. good stuff.

WoW is different and that's why I didn't buy it. I didn't really enjoy playing it(I have a friedn that has it).
Warcraft3 is good though, I have it running in 1024x768.16 with all settings on High and it looks pretty good for 3 years old. Battle.net stil has plenty of people on it though so I think I'll get some replay out of it once I beat the campaign...

the campaign is FREAKIN hard. especially when you get towards the end of the game. some of those missions are RIDICULOUS in difficulty. its still an amazing game though. i reinstalled it at the beginning of last semester and played it through again. still pretty decent the 2nd time through.

I just beat the human campaign on Hard difficulty and I been playing for like 2 or 3 days. I'm trying to train myself because I heard that the orc mission's and NE missions are just ridiculously difficult. Gotta get used to all the hotkeys it has.
Wai, how you do that dungeon thing??
