Get yourself some GT takeoffs...You can always change the sound of the exhaust by swapping out mufflers for some performance brand, but takeoffs are definately the way to go. Either that or have an exhaust shop make you an exhaust.

Any other catback system would be a waste of money unless you plan on doing some serious mods.

Definitely check out the GT takeoffs. I just got them and love them, even with the stock mufflers. Go to some muffler shops and ask them to let you know when they hack off the exhaust from a GT. Guy who did mine said they do it all the time.

Yeh, check around for Gt takeoff's, or even better, I found Mach1 take off's, they supposedly have the same mufflers as the cobra, bullit, and mach1, these are supposed to be a higher flowing muffler than the GT

GT take offs for 120 bucks~ always gives you the option to upgrade mufflers later on with out wasting money... great way to go, ebay usually has some just dont pay to much of course.

if you want the gt bumper works great however if you dont you may want longer tips due to you will see where they are welded on , and with teh stock bumper angle the tips up a little. and only get stainless tips.

A lot of people will tell you to get take-offs. I on the other hand will tell you to "Let your fingers do the walking in the yellow pages". Find all the places that will do custom dual exhaust, ask what mufflers they sell or buy the mufflers of your choice and take them to the shop and let them do the install. Where I live I paid $250 for my Dynomax mufflers and everything including install. NO where No place can you get that thru mail order unless you get used mufflers.

if you can find somewhere to do it cheaper, then go for it.

I'm by no means telling you that gt takeoff is the only way to go. Just make sure you don't get headers into a Y pipe into a reverse Y pipe.

lol Ya...Make sure you call and ask about a particular system before you buy it. You'd be surprised how an add can convince you that a system is true dual exhaust when it is a y-pipe bolt-on.

Just stay away from the systems that says its a "v6 Dual Exhaust"...Those are more than likely the bolt-ons

Actually I think GT take-offs are the way to go if you're looking for a true bolt on exhaust. When I had my Y-pipe cut and a new dual exhaust made, it was nice, but i couldn't take it off unless I used a hacksaw. But now I can drop my h-pipe outta the way and bolt it back up if I need to.

It might be too big for you but you should snag that if it is free,
then you could sell it to a guy geting a stroker setup!

What size is it? 2.5" is a bit big for a mild V6 but if you keep the
stock cats it is OK to go 2.5" on the catback... if you get hi-flow
cats then I'd stick with 2.25" muffs and catback.
