question i was told the best way to get power out of a stock 4.6L 2V is a supercharger, im still learning about mods so what is prolly the best one i could do without completly overhauling the whole engine, or do i have to completly overhaul it, i know i do if i wanna up the boost but for about 100hp how much would i have to change? alot of questions but like i said im just getting into the whole mustang mods, ive had my care a year i got a bbk coldair intake n flowmasters n i thought the car was good enough and then... the other day some rice beat me down...badly so i cant have that anymore ...

just driving the car on the street it should be fine. If you do a lot of racing the car it will one day give up. you will need to upgrade your clutch.
But I wouldn't about upgrading anything until the stock parts give out.

never do a major mod to a car like a supercharger or turbo charger unless you can afford for the car to break and you can afford to fix it... as its a risk and it puts more stress on the engine.
With that said if you want to go for it a single turbo will cost a bit more but it will make MORE power on LOWER boost. For everything either supercharger or turbocharger depending you may have to upgrade the fuel pump, fuel injectors, have a custom tune, and such. 100 more hp is not that bad as stock they are around 230-245rwhp (99-04s... pre 04s are MUCH worse).
Also if it is a 96-98 it might be best just to upgrade the heads to the 99+ style and you will raise the hp from 215 to 285~

just supercharge it. That what i did and love it, i put down 301whp on the dyno with 6psi. i'd recommend a stronger clutch, and a short throw shifter. i was street tuning my car after i put on a PI intake and missed 3rd and the shift fork broke cause the trans to be junked. if i would have had the short throw i may have avoided that

the 99-04 stock GT heads are considered PI heads, they are going to be cheaper to buy/rebuild/install and bump you up by about 70hp~

i would super charge it if you have the money, i have the procharger kit with a 12lb pulley pushing out 12lbs of boost. My stang put down 425 to the wheels about a year ago. but like SpectorV said dont do it unless you have the money to fix it . im learning the hard way. Im having to either change to a smaller pulley like a 10lb or go with bigger injectors and to get it retuned and tested is going to run me $900 so only do it if you can afford
