ive always heard of doing a throttle adjustment for your stang and i was wondering if it actually does anything like increases acceleration or something along the lines of that.

Are you talking about the gas pedal mod? Or an actual adjustment to the throttle body on the engine?

its the one where you put hose clamps on the cable right? it just lets you actually get to WOT but make sure you dont increase the tension too much you could rip the cable

actually, you'll get a way better throttle response. For $1, it's well worth it IMO. Basically you're throttle cable come with about an inch of slack. So when you push on the gas pedal, You need to take up that slack before the throttle even opens.

from what I've heard, our pedals won't even let us get to WOT unless you adjust them. They hit the carpet first.
