Gears upgrade

For accelration, should i get 3.73 or 4.10 gear sets for a 2003 5-speed GT. i don't really know the difference

4.10s will shave another tenth off your times, but you pay for it with higher rpms driving around and worse gas milage, almost alwasy manuals go with 3.73, good mix of it all but its all up to you in the end.

if it is your daily driver i suggest 3.73.

The 4:10's are a lower gear and will work better for drag racing. They should be used for the automatics. The 3:73's are used for sticks.

they dont have to be 3.73 for manuals and 4.10 for autos.
both gears will will give good gains. if you talking about drag racing gears, 4.30 and up
