Actually, I was in on the early work with that, Electricat and I talked
alot about that on the phone, and it is an OK way to do it. You can't get
even close to advancing it one tooth, the limitations are much less than that.
It needs further testing, and I thnk it would be a good cheap product to
make (if feasible) for the guys wanting a bit more advance. Maybe an
adapter plate and a fine-tuning adjustment screw, for better infinite
timing adjustments. It would advance the whole curve, adding for example
2* at all RPM's.
Rob, I believe your EEC tuner can read spark timing, we could make one and
have you read it and test it. Nice new product for RDM, don't you think?
If it is fully worked out that is.
