Hi I love my 2003 Mustang , but whats with the service engine soon light , its gone on 2 times in 4 mouths no apparent reason Its on now going to have Ford check it out Monday still under warranty  |

could be one of 234573568348 mechanical things that could go wrong on a car

if its an EVAP problem its not something you want to deal with, believe me

they'll say it has to be on at the time..
appareantly their scanner doesn't do CMDTCs..

I have to drive 15 minutes to get to autozone, so when I do go my light is def on. I didn't know that.

I found that out the hard way (told a friend to go there)
2 weeks later he called me said autozone did jack.. I hooked my diablosport handheld up to his exploder, found a cmdtc p0401 - he brought it into ford and had his dpfe sensor replaced for free under recall..

when i had 12k~ on my 01 i had a cel light come on and a week later another, it was two little sensors that took like 2 min to change out.

Last one I had on my car was a stuck open EGR valve. I had to replace the whole system and now that one is starting to act up every so often...
