I don't think that you can fully port a split port intake because you can't get all the way down the long runners. Would cutting it, porting it and welding it back together work, like they do on the single port intakes?
That and would it be worth doing?
Just wondering

Actually I thought RGR and Pete were using a special honing technique to port split ports. Maybe I am wrong but that is what i thought.
Robert or Pete chime in anytime and help us out on this!!

I do have some special techniques.
I have a new flex-honing tool that helps alot in the
long runners, and some techniques that get a better
plenum finish with slight enlargement. But the plenum
walls are so thin that you can't enalrge much! Best
to just shoot for a better interior surface finish.
I can't tell you much, I need to get some patents
and still working on the P-H.

Cool! Hope you make it, is that with the same cam and more boost?
I got a used cam for a guy that has a similar combo to yours, it is going
together now. He just wants between 4 and 500 RWHP, it should ge easy.
The cam is pretty close to yours, it's my old single port SC grind from the last
millenium, but after we saw what you made I knew it would work well for SPI.
Dood has an 11# ATI w/IC. Should run well...

Boost and chemical IC is a nice combo
Did you get the busted piston fixed or was that someone else?
