RANT: increasing number of bad drivers

maybe its just me, but it seems like there are more and more bad drivers every day. in the past TWO days I have almost been hit head on by some dumbass going the wrong way down a one way street, almost hit by big ass SUVs 3 or 4 times trying to change lanes without looking, stuck behind numerous dumbasses going atleast 10 under the speed limit for no apparent reason, stuck behind retards sitting through greenlights even with the horn going, stuck at greenlights b/c some idiots going the other way decided to try to make turns right as the light went red, and dumbasses pulling out across 3 or 4 lanes of traffic or pulling out right in front of me while doing 50+ mph. Most of the shit I have seen is just idiots not paying attention. [/rant]

People are in such a hurry & busy talking on their cell phone they don't pay attention or care about what they are doing or anyone around them.
Oh and by the way it appears that turnsignals are optional now.

and not like it is really going to get you to your destination any faster, like speeding from red light to red light, whats the point, and cutting in front of you in a traffic jam. Oh and my favorite, rubber necking.

^^^i cant, i find its hard to hold the steering wheel, hold the phone and shift at the same time. its easier on the freeway when shifting is less, but i still cant do the 3 things at once.
and you guys think you have bad drivers, you need to come to cali for a week or two.
i was in the mcdonalds drive through and some guy behind me started yelling for me to turn the car off, yelling "turn the ricer off, i cant breathe" and shit like that. times like that i wish i had no cat so i could richen up the safc at 7k and rev it and shoot a flame at him. but i looked back and saw he was driving a pos taurus. "hey buddy, i dont know about you, but i have a 4banger that passed smog perfect a month ago, and youre driving a 20 year old POS taurus, maybe you should look in the mirror". so i drove home and put the car in the garage and smelt for fumes, and it smelt fine to me, i richened it up just to see and still wasnt rich coming out the ass. stupid people.

optional? you'd think they were illegal in san antonio. i'm usually the only one that signals when getting on/off a highway, and i'm one of the few that uses their signal when changing lanes.
and cell phones? don't get me started. almost every day i have to brake hard and hold down my horn because of a soccermom pulling out in front of me while talking on her cell phone. |

You know what causes this?
the same permissive attitude that thinks a doobie is ok or a female teach screwing her students "ok".
Oh we can't enforce that law, it wouldn't be fair because >I< think a doobie is ok.
If it's a law enforce it, don't like the law then get it repealed, but not enforcing a law makes all laws that much less respected.
We got teh same problem with the Supreme Court.
