heh, I was gonna say the same thing spec...
but if your not into going fast... or that real sports car feel you get from driving a 5 speed (not flaming, its just a more sporty feel)
or maybe like you say, you don't like dealing with a 5 speed in stop and go traffic...
then the auto is the way to go
BTW: I drive a 5 speed in huntsville traffic everyday, work truck and soon to be my 93 when it's out of the tranny shop (yay! no head gasket problems now!)
I prefer it over an auto any day, only time is sucks is when there is an accident... like a really slow traffic jam where its only moving a max of 5 miles, even then its worth it

I guess its the year after year after year of ford auto let downs that puts me aginst them... oh well if you dont want to go fast get an auto. For the fun factor a manual cant be beat. or for over all control of the car.

I just love the way Mustangs look, Just because it is labeled "sports car" doesn't mean that I have to drive fast or have a manual to have fun driving it.
Considering that my current Mustang is a 2.3 LX, and my other vehicle is a mini van, this 98 Mustang is a giant leap forward for me in the "Going Fast Department" as it is.
BTW: I had to look for about 2 months just to find one with an auto, out of the 9 mustangs that I have looked at 7 of them where manual...
