Here are pics of the Cobra up close and personal. Yes the car has a supercharger, it is the same powerplant from the Ford GT. Just remember guys, you saw it here first. The last photo just happens to be a bonus photo.

Haha, oh well then. I like when cars have ugly rims like that on there. I as going to get a set of steelies for my car back in the day but decided not to. But it is fun to look like crap sometimes...then people think less of you and you can always get the inferior guys to race you.

only a fool would race a car that looked like that haha. seriously.. i would be intimidated by a mustang that had a lot of missing headlights, black rims, and a huge primer hood scoop.. it is probably loud as hell too. you know those type of cars are either barely running or modded like crazy. assuming its a 05 and it has freakin computers on the inside, id assume its gonna be real fast.

I can bet the front bumper will be different as will the hood. if not the test car would have been covered to prevent the actual front from being shown.

There are times where they have measureing equipment on small trailer on back and the trunk will be full also. Looks like the panels on the lower part of the back bumper have hookups for such equipment

Ok, here is the deal. The back bumper has the tow hitch, for when they do the testing for how much weight car can haul. The little potrusions and whatnot across the bar on the tow hitch is to allow them to fully drain the gas tank, and refill it when they run different types of fuels. The reason they paint the rims black is because when they were crome, people would come and steal the rims from the cars as they sat overnight. The hood scoop on the front isnt really a hood scoop at all, they had to cut a hole into the hood in order for the supercharger to fit under there, it basically is just a plastic piece they had pop riveted onto the hood. The interior of the car had the diagnostic computer hooked up via a breadboard like setup which you see in one pic right behind the passenger seat. I could not get any photo's of the engine becuase the guy would not let me and I respected that since he let me get to see it. I unfortunatly did not get to drive it for liability reasons. However riding in it... was comparable to sex.
