there's nothing wrong with an automatic. They are more consistant for one thing and do you realize how fast that thing would go sideways if you slammed into any gear?
An automatic is actually faster on higher horsepower applications cuz the computer can shift faster then you can.

I was going to say that. I don't think you could shift fast enough to get a 1.9 0-60. Not that I think this can either...that would just be extraordinarily difficult to get traction for....now that I look at it again it can probably do 0-60 in first gear. No shifting involved. Only a 3 speed.

the more power you have the better an auto is for you.
I think one of my fav things about that car is the gauges above the heating/ac controls.

whitestang, you can buy gauges like that for yours, just have to remove the 2 airvents and only have the one on each side.

Automatics are harder to break, too. With that kindof horsepower, I'll bet that's a real issue.
