serpentine threw a rib...

the previous belt gnawed off the rib closest to the block, and now the belt i've had on there since i put on my UDP is missing the same rib. any idea what has caused this and how to fix it?

sounds like one of your pulleys is a littl off or out of alignment causing you to have that edge of the belt eat up, see if you can trace the belt around or watch it while the car is running and see if you can determine which it is, thats about what it has to be.
