Will this fit my 1996 V6 coupe? Assuming of course I run the Pacesetter pipe and get the pass side hangers.
2002 Ford Mustang GT Cat-back Dual Exhaust, brand new-take-offs
Thanks,
Steve

the pace setter should bolt right up to a GT take off just have to adjust where you weld her on it to make the tip come put right at the bumper, or the loops over the axle for that matter, especially if the car is droped, dont want to be rubbing on the axle with your exhaust pipes ( as i do )

Oh I'll have it up on a suspension lift when I add it. Everything will be fitted up and adjusted before the first weld occurs.
Thanks to all for the helpful advice, except for the less than helpful relationship advice that is. Those of you without girlfriends aren't any help with your advice and those of you with "cool" girlfriends will find there is a big difference between a girlfriend and a wife. Especially when you have 3 kids and one in the oven.

Stuff is ordered.
Should have everything on hand at the end of the month. Which workls out ok since I should be done with the bathroom remodel by then have a free day to install it.
Getting my bonus check at the end of the month too, but that's earmarked for a garage.

I thought of that, but I couldn't justify to myself let alone the wife, the cost of it. Unless I needed cats anyway, Which I don't.

Update, I finally installed my dual exhaust.
pacesetter sux and the 2002 GT exhaust works, but it really doesn't bolt up. The tail pipe hangers are not compatible with the 1996 Stang setup. maybe if I coughed up for 2002 body mounted tail pipe hanger hardware it might have been ok. But as it sit's no dice.
The Pacestter kit did not have the diagram that the instructions said was very important to foolow in order to cut the Y pipe, so I eyeballed it, guess it wasn;t that important. Nor did the kit have the hardware to bolt the included hangers up with. The included muffler hanger was a POS that would have worked but was very cheesy and I just coughed up for a new Ford hanger.
Crap in a box.
Steve

i would highly recommend a dual exhaust adaptor so you can bolt/unbolt the dual exhaust as needed and you can buy a GT take off or any GT dual exhaust and it will bolt right up. You can do this or just get it custom fabed.
