have you ever looked at their 1/4 mile stock? i can't believe how slow it is for such a light car, comparitavely to our stangs.
don't get me wrong, i want a v8, but i hope not to walk the wrong arrogant path upon achieving the summit. :P

bullshit, if nothing beats cubic inches why are there 2000 hp grand nationals with 3.8 liter engine. the old sayi9ng there is no replacement for displacement is bull shit, 500 rwhp v6 stangs prove it and 2000 hp grand nationals with v6 prove that aswell.

Please dont compare the TURBO V6 GN to a money pit V6 mustang
Aftermarket for a GN is the like the same for a fox theres plenty and considering the GN has the advatage of power adder already just like Fords supercoupe

Don't compare them? Why not, the buick 3.8 is the engine ford copied our 3.8 from.... If you turbo a ford 3.8L and do it right, then you should be able to compete with an old GN...Don't see why you couldn't. There is a place for all cars, and all engines. I owned 2 V6 Mustangs before I got my GT. I paid my V6 dues, lol. I had a lot of fun with my 94 Convertable, but I just got tired of spending money on her when it wouldn't even idle at stop lights for me anymore, that is a real pain with an aode transmission, believe me. I love this GT, specially with the IRS Cobra Rear, brakes, and suspension. She is putting out around 300 hp and that is more than enough for me. I am no drag racer, I have never even run her for a time slip, though I still might sometime for the heckuvit

i have to deal with those kinds of people every night at work , i catch so much hell over having a v6 stang that it makes me so mad.
but oh well most of them have older v8's that makes about the same amount of hp as my v6 , and i get alot better fuel mileage so i try and ignore them. also there is one guy that wants to race me so bad. he has a 1987 buick with a 305 in it and he's getting it "race ready" he has a roll cage and some other goofy stuff in it and he talks about wanting to race my stock stang all the time! i mean come on whats the point? im getting very tired of it and really have considered looking for another vehicle to get away from it.
