ok so our muscle club here in town....a lot of them are nice but there is a handful of guys that are just dicks because they own GT's and Z28's and all that V8 jazz.
funny thing is a lot of them have more probs w/ their v8's than they care to admit

people just get a chip on their shoulder when they have a v8 or big engine thinking they are the king of the road. I personally dislike anyone that acts that way.

yes, there are tons and tons of people that love to put down v6s just cuz they feel they are lower than they are, they havent taken the time to even consider or research what it can do, they just assume its a 17 second car that cant do any better, in my younger days I didnt just start arguing i actually gave out points and research locations on and time slip locatiosn but they didnt care, they still said dont matter its just a v6 ... lol its the way of the world, at least some of them are cool... i know when i have a new v8 mustang i wont look down on v6 people.

I have come across a very few with the attitude of holier than art thou.
Most of the people I associate with admite effort and heart more than cylanders. And quite a few of them own Cobras!

exactly.
their biggest argument is that the money we put in etc, and the 'power wall' we'll hit with a v6.
funny thing is a lot of this comes from a guy w/ a POS (condition, not style) foxbody that runs slower than me

i like being different too. everyone w/ a v8 will tell you they've all done the same thing. a supercharged 4.2 is a nice change for a stang...especially one that drifts

Well, I used to be in that crowd. I believed that a V6 mustang was nothing more than a ford taurus with a mustang shell. But, in my aging, I have come to realize that a V6 has potential with work, and it is the first step for those that can't afford a V8...it is the entry level to get mustang in the blood.
On a related note, I still love punking the kids that pull up next to me in the V6 thinking that is what I have as well....when in fact I am in a little ole V8.
