Since alot of people didn't know I had one. Belonged to my mom. See drove it around for a long time. It has the optional louvered hood (Which has the turn signals in there.) and Sports Sprint Inline Six which everyone believes had a better cam in it. Still runs.
I'm hoping to start on it after college. It's gonna be a 5+ year project to complete. But I'm gonna enjoy every second of it.

I'm gonna buy the whole hump and both side from CJ Pony Parts.
The worst part is that the notch cracked open.

you may could be on pimp my ride if you work hard, who knows they might even put a custom bubble machine in the truck to blow bubbles and look cool with the daytons and hot pink paint job and 85 LCD tv screens, but they wont touch the motor of course.

thats goin to be a lot of work. i think the word "rustang" fits appropriately here. the rust on that bad boy will be the biggest problem probably but other than that i think its very doable. good luck.. i hope to see it in all its glory.

the thing I don't understand is, if your mom has owned it for such a long time, and it stills runs, how'd yall let it get in such bad condition?

My mom drove it in high school. Then around the '82, my mom got the new Chevette and my dad took the Mustang. About that time, one day he was putting something in the back seat and he went to step i nthe back and the floor gave way. He patched it back up. Cut to '85, the car was retired and my dad got his old truck back out. He parked the Stang next to garage in '85 and stayed there until a few yeard ago when we moved it.

Wow, and I thought my 90 LX, had a lot of problems, that Stang needs some serious TLC!! Not to mention Lots and Lots of $$$$!!!
It is so sad to see a classic Stang in such rough shape.
But if ya got the dough, I'd say go for it! That's going to be on awsome ride when you're done!
It would look really sharp with glossy black paint, and crome wheels!!!

Well the good news. If you can never get the motor running just give the floor a good kick and do it flintstone style GL with the car man.

thats how the 68 fastback looked when it rolled in my garage at age 10, it left a few years later with 289 replaced with 393 or 408 one stroker, don't remember, and show car condition I think spect may have seen the pictures
changing everything in a 67 to v8 is a pita, thats why you still find so many I6's out there that haven't been redone, its possible though.
